Myotherapy is the assessment and management/treatment of musculoskeletal conditions which cause muscular dysfunction affecting movement/mobility.

Myotherapists use a range of techniques by identifying trigger points and muscle and joint testing.

Myotherapists can use many different techniques including dry needling and cupping.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is technique used to help releasing or inactivating trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of movement.

Dry needling helps:

-reduces muscle tension

What is Cupping?

Cupping is a technique that uses glass cups to create a hickey like circles/bruises.

​

Cupping helps:

- pull blood to a region to stimulate healing

- stretch tight muscles

- helps tissue develop new blood flow

- increase circulation

- creates new blood vessels
